Honestly the entry level job is dead, I the job ended up with is just a pretty generic receptionist role at a hospital, but it should give me office experience in the future. I’d look into local jobs if you haven’t been already. I did also mail some physical applications into companies though, and while they didn’t land me a job, they did give me some contacts at those companies.

I love when they say that and then I tell them the amount of applications I’ve filled out since June of last year🙃🙃🙃

I have an office administrative assistant job rn and it’s good, but I likely won’t be here for much longer. is only working that position for a few months enough time for me to try to move on to find something more permanent in an upper position at another company?

I’m honestly unsure, I plan on staying for a year and then moving to something else. My dad said to do that, I’m guessing a year is a more solid look than a few months

Depending on how serious it is (if they’re checking with employers and such) can you extend your end date in your resume by a few months. I’ve fibbed my start and end dates even if the contact ended earlier. Perhaps I’m j majorly unethical and desperate tho

It was Linguistics, but I’ve found it really hasn’t mattered what you studied, it’s been rough for everyone:(
