I got fat asf on Nexplanon and was constantly bleeding for like 4 months straight don't recommend

Nexplanon made me feel like I was going insane. Copper IUD is non-hormonal so it won’t mess with your muscle/weight/mood etc. I’ve had it for several years and no issues with it at all.

I used lutera and I’ve liked it so far. The only downsides are lots of night sweats and appetite fluctuations.

seconding!!! I fucking HATED nexplanon bleeding for a year straight insane mood swings always crying…also you’re not supposed to get it with a history of anxiety or depression! ymmv of course but copper IUD has been AMAZING zero downsides I don’t even get heavier periods like some do

Sameee i got it out like 3 weeks ago and the weight is coming off so fast for me i went from 115-170 so fast it was vile

Also on the copper IUD hype train it makes your periods a little heavier/more intense but like, it’s super effective and you never have to worry about it for 10 years! Highly reccomend!!
