I’ve always felt like this with fashion. The level of how unconventional you can dress before it starts to look strange instead of just cool is directly correlated with how hot you are.

I’ve had spirals of thinking maybe if I started dieting and wearing makeup people would finally like me and I would come off as charming instead of socially inept but I haven’t taken the plunge bc I know I would hate myself for it

This is so true. I’m extremely weird and I feel like it wouldn’t be tolerated as well if I wasn’t also conventionally attractive
