got an iud, can’t have sex for 4 weeks. the guy i’m seeing said to make it 6 just to be safe 🥹 my ex would have put that 4 week mark in his calendar and held to it🙄 men vs boys

yes i just got a new IUD and my doc said the same thing. 2 weeks no sex, 4 weeks no unprotected sex. she mentioned infection risk but i went under anesthesia so i dont remember much

you just gotta find the right gynecologist, my first gyno specialize in high risk pregnancies, and she was very unhelpful with pain management. but I found a new gynecologist that offered a shot of strong ibuprofen and when they take pain got too bad the first appointment she said I could come back and go under anesthesia.

i argued to get anesthesia because of trauma that would make it nearly impossible for me to mentally handle awake. my insurance approved it really quickly after my doctor sent them a letter about it
