ok, so me and this guy have been courting and dating and seeing each other for the last 6 1/2 months and we are not bf and gf. Is it wrong for me to be upset that he does not want to celebrate national girlfriends day?
He’s being an ass, and as a total outsider I say dumpppp

his birthday is next week and I have birthday reservations set for me and him, but it's kind of disappointing that regardless of the title he does not want to celebrate me as a person

Why are you not bf/gf is the real question/- he’s not gonna celebrate gfs day with someone who isn’t his gf, but clearly you expect it of him, so why aren’t yall official

I asked him so what are you going to do on national boyfriend day and he said I don’t know probably hang out with the boys. and I asked him so you would rather celebrate a fake holiday with your boys, then with your partner

he's saying if that's the case are you going to celebrate Mother's Day and fiancé's day as well? Which I just don't think was the point of me asking if we were celebrating.

this is both of ours first “adult” relationship and we are taking it extremely slow.

You can take it slow sure, but why not commit? Bf/gf doesn’t have to be a big thing, and it clears up expectations

Clearly he doesn’t see you two as in a relationship girl

There’s taking it slow and there’s being in a situationship for 6 months what negative is there in being boyfriend and girlfriend other than commitment and communication
