Being depressed while “not having anything to be depressed over” is such an isolating feeling.

a doctor once told me i was too pretty and young to be depressed 😀 turns out i had nutrient deficiencies that caused depression. vitamin d and low ferritin (iron deficiency with or without anemia) were the big ones. turns out when you’re deficient, which is very common, your brain can’t make happy chemicals

That’s why I always tell people there’s literally nothing wrong I just have chemical imbalances in my brain. For some reason phrasing it like that makes it very acceptable for most people
