writing a romance book rn (for my own entertainment, doubt it’ll ever be published) and don’t know if i should add smut at any point. it’s slow burn, poor/rich love story, college students. i need romance/smut readers to put their opinions please :)

adding smut is definitely always up to you! a story can be good without smut, you can js add small things that imply the characters got down lmao but i know from experience (when i was more shy about writing things involving sex) it was much easier to just not 😭 remember it’s your work of art!

it’s just so hard figuring out when to put stuff like that in there. bc when i say slow burn, i mean SLOW. and i love me some intense slow burn
