Quitting what? As a former dancer turned entrepreneur, I can tell you that you do NOT want to be that one dancer who’s pushing 40 but still dancing full time. There’s no pension, no health benefits, no retirement plan, and there is a set time frame for how long you can dance. And a huge gap on your professional resume will look crazy asf. If you’re going to go full tilt then have a plan. I suggest buying real estate or something where you can have residual income.
Omg congrats on getting into medical school that’s not easy! And ok phew 😮💨 I thought you were going to like quit being a MA to become a dancer & that’s it. Dancing is a great job to have during medical school. Before I stopped i was only working one Saturday a week & that one night was enough to pay my rent & all my bills for the month. That would be good for you cuz then you can focus all on school!
