It’s so upsetting to see people switch up on the sa victim at Cornell because she asked 3 some. It also shows how many people don’t understand how consent work. She was drunk before she even got to frat meaning she was unable to consent to begin with.

and even if she was sober, she did NOT concent to having sex with all of those men.. They love to pick and choose out of all the evidence.

wait, I’m confused on how that works if she was unconscious.. (I still support her tho, “have you ever tried this one” or whatever Sabrinsky said..)

See, kids, this is why we have a minimum legal age to consume alcohol

The issue isn’t that the Jane Doe wanted consensual group sex. The issue is that she content prior, during and immediately afterwards affirming it was consensual and then became embarrassed and made a false rape accusation. The evidence is overwhelming that she’s lying and this is based on her own repeated statements acknowledging it was consensual.

have some fucking shame. “she got embarrassed" completely ignores how consent, psychology, and the law actuallyyyy work. it’s not that simple. first consent is ongoing, not a contract. agreeing beforehand doesn’t mean every act in the room was consensual. not only that but i have not a clue what “overwhelming evidence” ur talking about because in her statements she clearly says she passed out and was hiding when more men were coming in?!

AND post trauma reassuring texts are quite literally a survival response called fawning. have empathy and take into account that they’re trying to de escalate before fully processing a traumatic event. also texts don't override legal incapacitation & coercion.

She consented prior, by all accounts she consented during (going so far as initiating contact and being the aggressor), and afterwards she repeatedly reaffirmed her consent. How many witnesses have to refute everything she’s said? Setting aside her own glaring inconsistencies in her statements. This is literally the most clear case of consensual sex I’ve ever seen. If a case as well documented and unambiguously consensual as this is under attacked then God help us all.

I really love all the Monday night armchair therapist bullshit from people speaking out of their ass and with no medical experience. As far as I’m aware she has no record of any psychiatric evaluation supporting that diagnosis. You’re projecting what you want to be true despite the damning facts and evidence against this Jane Doe. This was voluntary alcohol and drug use by her own admission. Furthermore, impairment is not synonymous with the legal definition of incapacitation under the law.

under new york law she would have to be unconscious and drugged without consent for rape charges and those are in her initial statement. 7 men gang raped an already heavily intoxicated woman for hours, forcing more drugs into her and sending a text saying "free pussy" inviting more rapists to join like YES you do really need to pray to your god. it’s absolutely vile how you need a six hour documentary to maybe believe a rape victim and assume she’s a lying whore first. you’re pathetic.

Well she’s changed her story and statements so many times it really depends on which statements you’re referring to. I’ve read numerous statements she’s made where she admitted the drug use was completely voluntary. And I’ve seen no evidence to suggest she was drugged. In fact, she arrived to the fraternity after coming from a bar. She consented prior, she consented during and she reaffirmed consent afterwards. Voluntary drug use during consensual sex does not mean =\= legal incapacitation.

Literally, there are videos where they ask male college students how their weekends are. They all talk about going to parties and getting passed out drunk. Men do that all the time. But when a girl does it, she’s raped, and it becomes her fault? No, it doesn’t matter if she’s drunk. She could be literally boot butt naked, and you would still not have permission to just touch her without asking. It’s not that hard to keep your fucking hands to yourself.

You do not know how rape victims feel after something like that especially on alcohol and ketamine, which is used to SEDATE YOU. SHE WAS PASSED OUT. Also have you never heard the 5 stages of grief DENIAL IS NUMBER ONE. Do you think she would want to admit someone she was friends with literally invited a whole fraternity over to rape her. She needed to process it. If you are in the hospital and the doctor gives you ketamine you can’t sign consent forms. SHE COULDT CONSENT.

But she passed out multiple times during the whole thing because she took Ketamine which is a sedative. So even if she took the drugs voluntarily it would still be rape because you can’t have sex with an unconscious person.

Also, these men are disgusting. Calling their friends to come have sex with a girl drunk and on drugs, saying “ free pussy, come whip it out,” is vile. They have no respect for that woman, no care for her. They treated her like a piece of meat they can all try. Just looking at that sentence is enough to understand their intentions. They are all rapists!

There is no evidence that she passed or that anyone engaged in sex with an unconscious person. So that’s simply just a lie. Her own official statement doesn’t even allege that. Setting aside the distinction between impairment and legal incapacitation it’s clear the drug use was voluntary and nothing else you said is true and supported by the factual record.

I find the men disgusting and the woman for what was a consensual orgy but disgusting doesn’t mean it’s a crime. All the evidence in this case supports it was consensual at every step. Which is exactly the statement the DA made recently. By the testimony of those present this Jane Doe was initiating much of the sexual activity encouraging the new members to participate. One of the men who was actually passed out claims she SA him. Disgusting consensual group sex doesn’t make it rape.
