fairy lights and lead garland can help with the whimsy, drapes/curtains/tapestry under the loft is cute and good for privacy (and can be pinned back for socialising)

You can get like a bed skirt and it’ll still look cute for a lofted bed

Go thrifting and learn to sew!!! There’s a lot of traditional pieces that are very whimsy
