I am 90% sure I had a cyst burst. I went to the emergency room because I was POSITIVE it was appendicitis, but my appendix was fine and I had “inflammation”. I never thought to mention I have endo (and a ridiculous family history of it and cysts), but based on symptoms, I’m lowkey convinced.

Yeah, I went to an endocrinologist for years, they said everything was fine, and discharged me as a patient. I just started going to a female functional medicine doctor, she ordered 30+ tests, a crap ton of them came back with issues, she figured out that I’ve been having these ovarian cysts, and it was only my second visit with her

The worst rupture I had was on my fiancé’s couch. I was crying so loudly, couldn’t stand up, shaking profusely, and he was so close to taking me to the hospital

Cold sweats, dizziness, extreme abdominal pain (way worse than any cramp I’ve ever had), nausea, tears, lots of tears.

I had one and the Dr told me “you’re too young for an endo diagnosis.”

I got SUPER lucky with my first gyno and she basically gave me a diagnosis (probably unofficial-didn’t matter bc the ER didn’t look at my chart) based on the fact that NO WOMAN on my entire moms side of the family kept their uterus past age 50, and every single one has had surgery to remove endo
