What would a school being D1 have to do with SA culture being present. Cornell is a selective Ivy League school isolated in the middle of nowhere New York. Ithaca IS a small, quiet community. It’s not a huge college town or a crazy party school or an urban center. If the argument is “small quiet schools attract better people” Cornell is a great example of why that’s NOT true. If anything, a smaller school would have LESS resources and more small town judgment.

The only other argument you could be making is smaller schools have less fraternities with less members and therefore have less problems. By that logic, the problem is STILL fraternities.

“I feel like the people are better in smaller schools” cuts against this walk back of the century being your original point. but assuming you’re being honest, all you are saying is when we cut out fraternity culture we have less SA. meaning you think fraternities are the problem—not the size of the school. so what is it?

It also cuts against the idea that D1 v not would matter because then your argument would be all about numbers. But why would anyone expect coherent points from someone who doesn’t know wtf they’re saying because it’s entirely baseless.
