My dog has really bad separation anxiety and we put her in daycare for the days I have to be in the office, we just got a call that she's been 'holding' on to the other dogs with her teeth (non- aggressively) to keep them with her😭 how do I help this?

maybe talk to her vet? it could be her dosage needs to be adjusted. i feel like that’s be a hard behavior to correct because you aren’t there to train her about it. is it possible for her to have an emotional support toy or blanket w/ her that has your scent for the times she may be alone or napping there w/o the other dogs taking it?

She's on anxiety meds, she's been trained and more. Should I just get someone to watch her at my home?

Thank you so much! I'll call the vet again. She tears up her toys unfortunately when we're away bc of the anxiety and tries to eat them so the only thing she has are like indestructible balls, which don't really have our scent on it. She loves carrying around our shoes and napping next to them. I wonder how weird it'd be if I give them a shoe for her.🤣🤣🤣🤣

I'm thinking of sleeping with her dog sweater so it has my scent, and letting her go to daycare in it.
