I have to be that person but like the Starbucks workers are boycotting so often at this point that I don’t understand why they don’t just find a new job if it’s so bad. Like if you hate the company that much….find a new company.
FUCK starbucks, support starbucks workers!

Ngl… if you truly don’t support something, saying it’s “the only job opportunity” is not backing your case very much. Don’t support it means don’t work for it. Done & done.

Historically, unions asking for more than the bare minimum has improved work for everyone, not just the union negotiating. A union fighting for their wages and working conditions is a union fighting for all of us. It’s normal to see more strikes in a new union.

THANK YOU. But tbh they're gonna have a hard time finding a non professional job that's paying for than Starbucks. That's why i don't understand the strikes

And don’t say it’s the economy bc service is one area that is consistently short staffed and actually hiring right now

a lot of the ppl who work in the service industry are probably living paycheck by paycheck like they have to worry about their student loans, groceries, and who knows what else, like the vast majority of workers boycotting are part of the starbucks union as well, which starbucks has been refusing to recognize mind you. If they don't boycott it just makes it harder for the union to be recognized

Plus Starbucks will literally pay for your higher education. I think people have just started expecting things to be handed to them immediately

What you just said is pretty contradictory though. If they can afford to not go into work during a boycott then they’re not living paycheck to paycheck. I understand the purpose of unions and union protests but if the company is so bad it won’t recognize the union, leave the company, also you can look for a new job without quitting the one you have.
