
a lot of the ppl who work in the service industry are probably living paycheck by paycheck like they have to worry about their student loans, groceries, and who knows what else, like the vast majority of workers boycotting are part of the starbucks union as well, which starbucks has been refusing to recognize mind you. If they don't boycott it just makes it harder for the union to be recognized
What you just said is pretty contradictory though. If they can afford to not go into work during a boycott then they’re not living paycheck to paycheck. I understand the purpose of unions and union protests but if the company is so bad it won’t recognize the union, leave the company, also you can look for a new job without quitting the one you have.
