I thought of the idea behind “I think therefore I am” when I was likw 7 years old and I was PISSED when I found out that Einstein got all the credit for thinking of it when he was a grown ass man. Like it took you that long???

That phrase gets misused so often tho, like the pop philosophy understanding is the basis for an argument about substance essence dualism iirc, which is so beyond “I can’t verify things outside myself exist”
