An update: she was sent home after an anti nausea injection and now she’s just kinda pissed at the world because she hates the vet. The vet suggested it could be irritation from storm/fireworks stress which would make a LOT of sense so I’m looking into kitty prozac and other treatments

Another update for anyone following along: I just got home from work and she hasn’t gotten sick since before the vet, and she’s being very affectionate :) the only problem is she and my male cat still hate each other but they’re always like that after vet visits so I’m sure they’ll be back to normal soon. I haven’t fed her dinner yet but hoping for the best!

She was actually on a different anxiety med for a bit a few years ago that I was on at the same time 😭 we’ve had a lot of storms lately though, plus I live by an MLB stadium where they shoot fireworks every time there’s a home run or our team wins. On top of July 4th fireworks I’m sure she’s going through it, I just wish I would’ve noticed sooner but she never seems bothered by it :(

It was actually under $200! But last time it was well over $2k :,) they didn’t do X-rays or anything else extra beyond the nausea meds so luckily the bulk of the bill was just the vet fee
