Honestly there are no tips for these aside from knowing your surroundings. If you know potholes are on that strip of road just remind yourself where they are and move your car alongside them rather than on top of them. Keeping a longer following distance will help you in noticing those potholes too to move over. My goal is braking is that you never want to see your car physically brake to a stop. It’s supposed to slowly roll there (it’s better for your brakes too idk why ppl slam), also helps-

cruise (decelerate) when changing speed zones, don’t accelerate fast, don’t break hard, take turns at a steady pace, keep gas in your car, get regular oil changes. honestly for me, i remind myself to drive like an old person who really shouldn’t have a license, but within reason. people can flash their lights at you and go around you, but you’re safe and taking it easy on your vehicle

To watch the brake lights of the car IN FRONT of the car in front of you, they brake, you brake. I keep usually a 2 car distance behind the car in front of me (usually, sometimes I’m an ass-rider tho). Know your vehicle. Only takes like 2-3 months to know every spec of where your car is if you’ve driven it regularly

Thank you. And it’s not always potholes the roads sometimes there’s bumps that you cannot escape because they’re on the interstate

Equivalent. You should still avoid those to save suspension. Again, if you know the road, you can usually remember where they are and move your vehicle over to avoid it. Watch how the car in front of you reacts otherwise, they hit bump you move, they move to avoid bump, you do too

Of course no worries:) I’d rather people ask these questions than create unsafe conditions for other drivers by not being confident:)) there is no perfect driver because no driving experience will be identical. Just be confident in your driving and be aware of everyone around you. Know that your car can glide rather than hitting the brakes everytime. If you know a red light is up ahead (and you can see it from far away) just take your foot off the gas and glide up there
