it’s cause when you love yourself you’re strong in your self-worth so you won’t feel that need. your ego wouldn’t need another person to latch onto. therefore you simply feel complete and whole by yourself, which is magnetic, which often leads to being your realest self so when you do find love, it’s for you.

you can’t buy yourself flowers? you can’t take yourself out for a nice meal at a restaurant? you can’t treat yourself with a pretty necklace? girl stand up, you absolutely can do the same things for yourself that a man could do. it’s called self-love for a reason.
