Idk why everyone is down voting OP like they know what her personal experience is. If it makes you feel any better any woman with curls are both living my dream (I know it’s harder for up keep but it’s so gorgeous) and I’m just also very attracted to curly haired people. I’m getting to help my partner with his curls right now and it’s super fun

yeah ppl acting like I said I hate my curls😭I LOVE my hair! (Which is why I always wear it natural) but it’s so crazy seeing how many girls love the look vs guys thinking it’s messy. but I truly don’t gaf abt a man’s opinion tbh the post In general was kinda a joke

it’s definitely what I get complimented on most!! but usually just by other women or poc. Im Mediterranean tho so i usually look more mixed than Anglo white anyway

my hair is no where near the issue and it fits me extremely well! The Post is kinda just a joke/commentary on beauty standards in my city’s heavily white bar scene💗

I guess I didn’t make it clear that the bar scene in my city has lots of white guys😭 and white guys are literally notorious for not liking curly hair… like I don’t care for their attention but u can catch the vibe that ur not wanted lol

tho i cant argue with you about your hair possibly being a reason bc puberty made my hair go from straight to wavy and even tho mine is wavy and not curly I’ve noticed the same trend (and not with just me)

being tall would also perfectly fit in this scenario ur so valid💗 I’ve always wanted to be way taller bc my mom is tall (being tall is GORGEOUSS!!) but ik it can be rough when it’s like a short man apocalypse out there rn
