I think you literally just talk to him about the class and try to build up a relationship. Depending if your a confident girl or not, just straight up ask him for his number or go to the cafeteria after together

I’m a more “traditional” woman and also shy so I suggest just trying to make small talk about the class. Ask him random stuff, then it’s up to him to lead after that
