by reminding yourself that he had the chance to choose you, and didn't. that's all that matters here. none of the good times outweigh that, so when you find yourself missing him and the good times, bring yourself back to that singular thought. you will eventually heal and move on to someone who WILL choose you, he was just another lesson learned
he said no to a relationship because of the friendship, we did sleep together after some time passed, thinking it would change his mind on me but when i asked him if he was looking for just benefits with me, bc our hangouts with him were solely just trying to get with me now, but he said “i’m just a go with a flow type of guy” and “whatever happens, happens”. and that it would be hard to do “full time” friends with benefits because of our schedule and hour distance but that he was down for it…
he stopped talking to me two days after the conversation. and i guess it’s hard to get over because we knew each other for a long time, and he knows how i feel when guys take advantage of my feelings and how i haven’t had the best experience with guys, i always ran to him and he would be there and help me through it. he’s always been there and was the only good friend i had throughout my life.
