- my coworkers no call no show, or just actually don’t even do anything. I feel like I’m doing way too much for the pay. I’m in the rural south so yeah the pay is gonna be jack shit. But I thought 11/hr wasn’t that bad considering minimum is like 7 or so. Most of my coworkers have multiple jobs but I’m also in school rn and I don’t think I could handle MORE of this. I’m realizing the pay is absolute bullshit for what we’re expecting to do. There aren’t exactly any better options tho.

I know cost of living is different but $11/hr is crazy. I’m in Washington and minimum is ~$17 here, though to really make a living wage most places pay $19-$22 to start

Lowkey, see if you can find a remote job on indeed for a state that has a higher minimum wage. That way hours are possibly more flexible, and location won’t matter. Good luck!!
