Oh?? I guess that makes more sense but boy is that fucking strange. It’s definitely not a flex to have so little trust in your man that it’s consuming every minute of your day 💀 I’d rather be single

no seriously, i think part of it was trying to be pick me? like “i don’t want to decenter men, i’m obsessed w my boyfriend & you’re coping because you’re single” but idk, she sounded unhinged. some people lack self awareness. (would it surprise no one if i said this was my roommate, somehow roommates are always like this 🙃)

She’s also missing the part where decentering men isn’t necessarily about being single, it’s about how you make your everyday decisions. I’m married and I’d say I still decenter men as a whole, or at least do my best to do so as far as how I dress, my hobbies, how I treat other people, etc. it’s just a very ignorant and weird statement overall
