The problem with people who lack any sort of historical knowledge is that they comment on things without actually understanding the context. That’s the whole point. Like the whole point. Even without historical context, they should still have enough empathy and sympathy to understand. Just like when we’re discussing our issues as women to men. There should be a level of compassion on both sides to have a progressive conversation.
