Yeah I stopped eating beef for like 10 years and passed out from severe anemia eventually, then started taking iron pills and that wasn't enough. It's somewhat unfortunate that we evolved to eat animals, they're treated so badly atp but I can't deny myself heme iron until i'm ready to die. It just doesn't work to be vegetarian/vegan forever
