Just wanted to have a nice dinner with my boyfriend. Food was great but it took 20-30 minutes just to PAY the bill afterwards and I still tipped 20% to be nice. And then I walk out of the parking lot and someone hit my car 🫠

This was a couple hours ago, don't worry. Cops and insurance have been called. They have a bunch of cameras outside the restaurant but only the owner can access it and he won't be back in until Monday. The cop is gonna follow up then to check the cameras.

Also car is still drivable and headlights/blinker still work perfectly so that's all I can ask (especially since my insurance doesn't cover rentals apparently)

Good. Im gonna be real, saying this as someone who did this to the side of someone’s car on accident years and years ago then they checked the cameras because younger me was an idiot. I deserved my insurance going up and my hit and run fee and it made me learn my lesson to not be stupid and get scared and leave. Hopefully they learn their lesson too and actually have insurance that will cover it for you like mine did

My insurance doesn’t cover damage to my own car but it has to cover damage to cars I damage and I also damaged my own car so more karma to me
