I think if you’re against dating someone with a shorter technical degree that’s weird but in general wanting some further education is normal

i agree! one of my best friends is dating a blue collar man and while i don’t have anything against that or him, i just would personally never date someone without some sort of degree 🤷‍♀️

No I’m the same way. I don’t look down on people who didn’t go to college for whatever reason but I do want someone who’s at a similar stage in life as me and someone who values higher education and learning beyond high school. A lot of guys I’ve talked to who didn’t go to college have a “fuck school it’s a waste of money and time” angle that I just don’t appreciate. I gained a lot of really great life experience at my university and I want someone who did the same.

Okay there’s this guy that didn’t go to college but he has a well enough job to own a house .. I still live with my mom so like wouldn’t he be doing better off with no degree idk if I can overlook no education tho

Honestly me personally I can’t overlook the whole no education thing but also he’s doing better off probably because he entered the workforce earlier than you since you’re still in college

Love that! Must add I’m a teacher so education is just really important to me strictly for wanting to learn and grow your knowledge with college .. it’s always been important to me

I get where you’re coming from 100%! I defend 2 year degrees because my bestie went to culinary school but I can’t imagine not wanting to study beyond high school. Or the people who use ai to do their work. Like do not even come near me
