Hot take I feel like the “decenter men” idea, which is super valuable and real by itself, has been turned into an “I’m not like other girls.” Like it’s not a black and white, to center or decenter men, and when it’s framed that way I think it can cause unnecessary fragmentation and hostility between women

Well.. also it prevents you from loving yourself when I started to prioritize myself and my own well being ignoring men just eventually became second nature because I care more about myself then validation

For me it’s just about getting to a point where I recognize what I do and don’t deserve and I’m not afraid to let someone go if they are not treating me right. I prioritize my peace and don’t ever want to feel that anxious feeling that boys in the past have given me. The right person won’t make me feel anxious and when that time comes I will be grateful to have them
