would have been made bc at the end of the day it really doesn’t matter what woman they put in front of the camera, they’re just selling sex. yes ofc she should be held accountable but as far as i can tell she is. but no one’s saying anything about the people who actually have the power to NOT make ads like that again

i actually agree that novig should be facing backlash too, but the problem with sweeney isn’t just that she made the ad, it’s that she constantly goes against every rule she sets for herself, and doesn’t care that her lifeless expression and monotone voice while she’s ass naked talking about “just sports” unfortunately appeals to the growing population of men who don’t want a woman, just sum to fuck. she’s embodying less of a sexy woman, and more of just a sexy body. idk if that makes sense

that’s true, but idk if it changes that much for this convo. when that golf ad came out no one went after the actors even though they agreed to be in it, they went after the actual company bc everyone knew the people behind it weren’t the actors themselves. obviously sweeney is wayyy more popular but from what i’ve seen she’s getting more than enough hate for her role in this. i just don’t see the effectiveness in acting like she’s 100% responsible when it makes a lot more sense to go after the

actual people making the developing the ads. like i said you could switch her out for any other attractive woman and the ad would still be the same, but if you target the actual company and pressure them into pulling it/not making any more like that, it doesn’t matter if sweeney or anyone else would agree to be in it. it’s not being made
