my friend stayed friends with my ex after he cheated on me and we broke up. i didn’t love it but they worked together and had mutual friends so she didn’t really have a choice but she brings him up to me and it really bothers me but she won’t stop

Tell her that you respect her and him being friends and she can continue being friends but he is part of your past and he did things that hurt you. If she continues to bring it up, you will have to question your friendship. I personally had to end a 15 year friendship with my best friend after my last breakup and it’s not easy but you gotta do what’s right for you

i have a few times. i reached out again to please not tell me about his birthday (which she’s going to) but she won’t stop. i feel like every time someone brings him up to me it totally resets my mental health. she and i aren’t very close but my close friends are close with her so it’s unavoidable to be around her.
