rocket league lol. yeah he was still attentive and like gave me his opinion like i asked for but he had been gaming with his friends for at least an hour, so when i said “can i vent to you for like 5-10 ish minutes” i was expecting his full attention for those few minutes. even if he was like “yeah let me finish this game” or “give me 15 minutes” is something like that, i wouldn’t have minded

hmmmm i feel like rocket league is maybeee a game you can multitask in it depends, and i totally get what you just said. i would tell him exactly that and how he responds is a really good indicator

i definitely plan on bringing it up to him in the morning. normally i don’t mind, like when we’re just talking about our day or sometimes he’ll play and i’ll do homework or something and we’ll just be on facetime while we each do our thing. but when i like specifically mentioned wanting to vent for 5-10 minutes i feel like the least he could have done is given me that time yk? but anyway thanks for the advice and for letting me rant lol

exactly! yes i could have asked but if someone told me they needed to vent for a short amount of time, i would give them my full attention right off the bat
