genuine question pls don’t flame me if you’re 100% gay, you like only one kind of genitalia, how are you attracted to a transgender individual if you know they don’t have what you’re “in to” ?

because being gay isn’t about just liking one type of genitalia it’s about being attracted to people of the same gender as you

Ah well im a lesbian and i date a lot of trans women so i personally dont have a preference, but from some of my friends who do it often works out cuz many trans women dont like doing sex with genitals anyways due to dysphoria. Theres also aspec ppl, ppl in the middle of getting bottom surgery, just doing other types of sex. Lots of lesbian/trans sex does not involve genitalia tbh

ik that we live in a time where sex≠gender but isn’t that what being gay is like categorized by? my perception was like that lesbians like women because of their genitalia and gay men like men bc of theirs, but i’m learning it’s less cut and dry than that. for some is it more about liking the “spirit” of a woman/man? like a trans woman is a woman despite not having the matching parts, so would a lesbian be attracted to their feminine appearance and not just a biologically female body ?

Lots of trans women have bottom surgery too. Im attracted to women not their genitals 🤷‍♀️ (although the great uniting factor of most all women is boobs 🫣)

haha fair enough! sounds like it’s more about the outward appearance and spirit/vibe that attracts you rather than the biological factors makes me wonder why haters act like being gay is some extreme hypersexual kinky weird atmosphere, when you can be gay and have untraditional sex or no sex at all based on preferences
