I’m still confused to this day.. I had my gallbladder removed in 2021. It was on the right of my stomach. Where the scars are .. not tummy .. why tf did they shave my coochie?!

I KNOW THIS ONE it’s so the surgical drape adheres properly, the skin can be sanitized, hair doesn’t get into the incision, and because there’s less risk of infection!

It’s a sterile sheet they put over your body so that they’re only looking at the part of you that they’re operating on :) it has a sticky edge so they may have needed to shave your pubes to make sure no hair stuck to it.
