i’m getting my tonsils taken out in approximately 6 hours. the only thing i’m worried about is if i’m able to wake up at 4:30am to go to said appointment 🫠

Let me give you a run-down, that shit is the most ASS recovery of the world. The medicine they give you, take it on the hour every hour. The day of, you’ll feel amazing…eat a good amount of food because chances are, your jaw will swell overnight and you won’t be able to eat solids for a week. Go on amazon right now and order an ice pack for your jaw, it helps so fucking much. It is amazing after though because I haven’t gotten sick since!! - Coming from someone who had it done 9 months ago

It’s ass, but worth it. Never had strep or bad breath since and also made basic breathing so much easier! Let me know if you need any tips !!

thank you so so much!! i’m back home now! i have a neck ice back and eye ice mask that used last year when i got my wisdom teeth out and it helped so much
