I could just google it, but what does that target specifically? I’m on spironolactone which is a testosterone/androgen blocker

what dose are you on? i had to work up to 2000mg and it fucked me up. i was fine when i started at 500-1000mg, but once i made it to 2000mg it was miserable and i was nauseous and running to the bathroom for multiple rounds. it wouldve been easier if i was still at home with home cooked meals and my own bathroom but im in college so i had to get off

im on that too because they can work congruently :) this one's more for the insulin resistance type but it's not a GLP-1 or anything like that

Interesting, so like a diabetes medication? And what kind of reactions are you having to it? I’m vehemently against GLP1s for myself but I do want to get on something to solve the insulin resistance issue. I’m sure you’re the same way but the only time I’ve ever been able to lose weight was by being extremely unhealthy (massive calorie deficit and 2+ hours of cardio per day, every day)

yeah, so it's not a GLP-1 but it is also used to treat diabetes yeah I think it's more for weight management than weight loss, but it makes it easier to lose weight because your body is not doing the stupid things

i switched to spironolactone but then it made me extremely depressed and suicidal (still to this day even after being off of it for 4 months), had to pee very often, girlies were extremely tender, had a >7 day period every other week, it was not fun. so now im not taking any meds and im letting my body figure itself out

It is a diuretic so that makes sense. It was killer for the first few months being on it until my body adjusted. That’s terrible it messed up your mental health like that :(
