ohhh you’re too far in. you gotta have a conversation. either he has changed his mind, or he enjoys the closeness of being with you but doesn’t want the responsibility of being with you

You just need to sit down and talk with him. Don’t start with quoting this or even really bringing it up directly. Just ask in person how he feels and what he wants. And it can’t be a weird situationship
