We can’t open if my old ass car doesn’t start in the morning bc I’m the fucking keyholder. Maybe I should just say FUCKEM

^ legitimately. Definitely make a formal complaint to hr or whoever higher up. Also if your company rents the space that’s prob a lease violation

HR is made to protect the company and usually unhelpful. OSHA complaints can be fully anonymous to your employer (I called osha on my job)

If I did that wouldn’t they shut us down til it’s fixed? I don’t want to lose out on a bunch of hours necessarily but maybe I should

I was filling out the form bc like I truly want to but I don’t want to get in trouble for it because even though I can “stay anonymous” I need to give osha my name and number and I really don’t want to do that

Osha didn’t mess around. I’d do it

(And formal complaint just so it’s on record)

I just don’t want them to know it was me , and I’m worried they wouldn’t take it serious for sure bc like idk how bad it needs to be

And all the higher ups know how bad it is but haven’t done anything about it. They get to sit in their offices with space heaters and disregard the whole place

There’s no actual indoor air temp regulations, just that it can’t be extreme. So you won’t get shut down or anything, but they’ll be on OSHA’s radar and it will be documented that there are previous complaints should other issues arise

It’s possible your state might have their own regs tho

They will keep you fully anonymous but whatever you report they will send to your manager so just make sure it’s vague enough with professional writing so no one can try to pin it on you and if they do try to blame you that’s retaliation and you can sue. But they won’t find out it’s completely anonymous to your employer and tbh OSHA won’t do much physically but they’ll be on your managers ass and no company wants to be on OSHAs radar

I was having the same problem but the reverse. Our AC didn’t work for months
