So this is an argument fallacy called Ad Hominem, where this person attacking the OP for denying help in a hypothetical situation rather than attacking the argument of the situation being mammyfication.
Regardless of anyone’s race, if you deny a child in need of help, you’re a POS. That being said, directing your children toward a specific race for help is weird, don’t do that sh!t

And yes I can see that the person mentioned the race situation but that was clearly only to cover the fact that she is getting upset over a hypothetical. A lot of people act differently to a hypothetical than the real deal, it’s human nature, it’s instinct. Calling someone a POS over a hypothetical is insane.

it’s a stupid argument but not really an ad hominem. in ad hominem attacks, generally the attempt to discredit someone has to be unrelated to the argument at hand, e.g. something like “well you got too drunk last weekend, so your judgement in general can’t be trusted at all.”

YES! mentioning the race part as a sidebar so that they wouldnt get caught being weird themselves doesnt work when they literally turn off comments, esp when OPs whole point was about the mammyfication of black women and being tired of having that stereotype thrown onto her. Obviously OP would help a child if it was necessary but honestly thats their business if not and exactly!! it is a hypothetical!!
