And remember it does have to be the freaking Met or anything. Most cities have galas of some sort. Go to one for a charity event, or for your favorite museum. The tickets will likely still be expensive, but more manageable. Have fun with your hair, outfit, makeup, etc. and enjoy acting fancy, eating canapés and meeting people. (Also I’m sure you’re beautiful!! 💃)
