As much as I want this, I have concerns that this will make children more afraid to disclose their abuse. There was a video by the tiktoker Knitting Cult Lady called “how to respond like a matriarchy” or something like that (about the files), and her main point was that we have to encircle and protect the vulnerable FIRST, and only AFTER they are protected do we move on to the punishment phase. Idk just some thoughts

My fiancé says all the time that they should die but tbh as someone who experienced csa a lot I want them to get gen pop for life bc we all know what happens to them in there when someone whispers the word chomo

This is counterproductive and discourages victims from coming out. This kind of legislation also usually gets weaponized against queer people. Think about it this way: do you trust an admin full of child rapists to carry out capital punishment against child rapists appropriately??

Like they’re not even getting locked up yet, I feel like that’s the first step. I would rather imprison more of them than kill the ones we already catch (and potentially decrease the number that are caught)
