i need advice. i’m a sophomore in college and i’m slowly losing my two best friends from high school. i know trios don’t work and all of that but it hurts that after 6 years now they’re just slowly ghosting me. more in comments please help

but they’re a year younger than me, so freshmen. and i know they had a whole year in high school where i wasn’t there and they got closer bc i go to school out of state. but now one of them is at the same college as me and we barely hang out. and the other came to visit and the only times i saw her was when i picked her up from the airport (at midnight!) and drove her back to the airport (at 4am!!)

Happened to me and my girlfriends. It happens unfortunately. I talk to one of the girls occasionally but I haven’t spoken to the other one in 2 years aside from happy birthday, VERY OCCASIONALLY in the GC, and that’s it🙂 life moved on, so will I

and i just got sent a screenshot that one of them reposted a video on tiktok that says “in your teens your trio is going to turn into a duo and it’s very important they you let it because the duo will be the best thing that’s happened to you” and i’m really hurt. i know it’s stupid but i just don’t know what to dk

and i told myself i’m not gonna text them first and just see if they text me and we haven’t talked in 3 weeks. it’s dumb but one of them lost our 1589 day streak on snapchat. and yes that’s like so stupid i don’t really care, but idk it annoys me

Same thing happened to me. I just stopped messaging for a year, told myself if they texted first I will respond. Eventually one of my friends did and we talk every now and then. No reason to chase after a friend, don’t text first and see what comes
