yall, i just saw an AI commercial. I’ve seen ads on my phone, but I ain’t never seen that crap on TV.

i usually watch tv with my parents at night if i’m not busy and i’ve noticed sooo many ai ads, it’s embarrassing. we always point it out and laugh “if you can’t hire real people for your commercial, i don’t think i wanna try your product”

I think the first notable example of that was coca cola’s superbowl(?) ad with all the animals in a winter village. I’m glad there was a lot of backlash but it’s discouraging seeing it continue :(

That’s wild, I’ll have to pay attention next time I see it on tv. Scary that it’s progressing beyond the super obvious AI generated ads I get on like a free mobile game or something
