if you’re having sex you should always be using condoms to protect yourself from STI’s

Condoms are so uncomfy tho... me and my gf get tested frequently and are both on prep there are def ways to mitigate it but still have fun

doesn’t change anything, especially if you’re not in a relationship it’s not worth the risk of catching something that was not disclosed to you. also, are you a man under girl talk? fucking weird.

I didn’t specify. But I meant with my boyfriend. I would never have unprotected sex. I’ve been on birth control for 9 years. He’s the only man I’ve had sex with and we’ve been together for 2 years. I changed the day on my bc patch so I’m not fully protected right now so we’ll have to use condoms.

if you’re in a long term monogamous relationship where you’ve both been tested since the last time you had sex with someone else every healthcare provider will tell you that condoms to prevent STDs is unnecessary. she already said they’ve both been tested and use prep so that is in fact safe sex. for contraception you really actually don’t know how they’re having sex or what contraception they’re using and assuming they’re being unsafe is both rude and ignorant.

if you want to teach people about how to have responsible safe sex you have to recognize that people have different risk factors, different ways of managing risks, and different sex lives. and there are lots of ways to go about keeping yourself safe. not to mention immediately calling her a man for dating a woman is just homophobic and weird like do better.

LMAO holy yap bro all i said is we should advocate for safe sex especially if you’re not in a relationship it’s easy for someone to lie about how often they get tested. and i didn’t call her a man for dating a woman, it was bc her comment read as if she was the one wearing the condom and the nature of the comment was giving man. i’m not homophobic 😂 nice try tho there was nothing wrong with what i said. i’m not wrong for simply stating we should advocate for safe sex regardless.

you’re not advocating for safe sex if you don’t actually know what that means beyond “everyone needs to use condoms all the time” doubling down is making you sound more homophobic. but please keep lecturing two lesbians about how what you said wasn’t weird and homophobic instead of just apologizing

bro I AM GAY so calling me homophobic will do nothing but make me laugh. i don’t see how my statement makes me “homophobic” at all. you need to realize my comment was made without ANY context to the OP. so yeah.. i’m gonna say condoms should be used because a lot of people don’t without any second form of protection.. i didn’t say “in every situation that has ever existed in the whole world you need to use a condom” like be fr you’re just trying to find something to argue about.

if neither of you have been std tested then you shouldn’t be having sex without a condom, as you can be asymptomatic
