Please don’t take shots before a literal doctors appointment. That’s how you end up getting flagged by ur doctor. Read up on the whole test so you know what to expect and make sure you tell your doctor you’re nervous. I’ve been there done that and was very nervous but it didn’t hurt at all it just feels kinda weird.

you can take some ibuprofen before if you’re worried about the pain, but as someone who was also super worried for a variety of reasons, it’s a super fast procedure and it personally didn’t hurt at all for me. plus it’s super important for your health and once you get it done you don’t have to deal with it again for another 3 years!

tell ur doctor ur nervous and they should do good with talking about other things to distract u, and give u warning of everything that they're doing!! it's uncomfy for maybe 1-2 mins but it shouldn't really hurt. u got this girl it'll be over before u knw it, ur doing a great thing by keeping up with ur reproductive health
