i’m a Behavior Coach. it’s a pretty unique position. i’m a tier 3 MTSS support for at risk students. i give 1:1 support and empower them to complete classes and work on personal/academic goals to create sustainable life skills! it’s through a virtual school system so a lot of our students are at risk and need extra support

I just got let go of my first in-school position I was a Parapro in a self contained high needs room. The reasons for termination baffled me and my team, truly a bad decision. Principal- not my words- is on a power trip. Mainly my ‘disposition’ wasn’t 100% positive during the 2 times they came to help when called staff support. So w 42 days left of school that was a serious asshole move. I don’t even know if I want to do edu anymore, or if I did smth else I lose my PEL bc no development yk
