girl who skates here! you can skate in any shoes, unless you’re hitting insane tricks and then open toed or boots or something might hinder you. shoes designed for skating do provide a little more stability imo and are able to take the wear and tear of skating better. the average shoe will get torn to bits so fast. i see ppl at the parks wearing all kinds of shoes though.

i totally get this- i have friends who are like go socialize and then i’ll have a conversation with a guy and think yay i’m making a friend and then he hits me with “can I have your number?” at the end of the convo and it just feels like betrayal :((( which ig that happening has been making me realize that I’m probably attractive but it just makes me want to avoid interaction with men (especially ones I don’t find physically attractive because I feel really bad saying no (people pleaser))

Like dude I just want to ask some questions not go out on a date. And then if you say you have a bf (which I do) it gets awkward bc “well then why are you talking to me”
