at this point i don’t even tell most cis women i’m trans because when i do they treat me differently. when i pretend i’m cis and lie to them i get to be one of the girls. when they know i’m trans there’s always an asterisk. i’m seen as an inherent threat because of what i was born as. i bet people seeing this post see me differently once they saw the comments and realized i’m not a real woman
i will never love my body. i will never love anything about myself. i went through male puberty and i knew the whole time and i begged for hormones so i could be cured for YEARS with no luck until it was too late. it’s too late to have a body i’m comfortable swimming in. two years of e and prog and my chest has barely changed. and i’m nowhere close to being a real woman
i’m so sorry you (and so many other trans women) go thru this, i wish us cis women did better :( fwiw, idt there’s such a thing as being a “real” woman. sure, cis and trans women have many different life experiences, but at the end of the day, that’s not the deciding factor for womanhood. i think you’d probably benefit from cognitive reframing, but i’m no therapist so i can just hope you’re able to love and appreciate your body someday 🫶🏽🫶🏽
