iv been with him for a year, and his dog is constantly doing something, either chewing something up, pottying in the house, making a mess, pushing boundaries, the dog has zero manners, im well aware its a training issue, im constantly stressed cuz the dog is doing something, im losing sleep because the dog is up all night doing something, im just feeling insane, my bf wont do anything, all he says is “hes just a dog” we constantly have arguments because of the dog

girl pls run, he's showing u how he'd be raising literally anything with u. he would be a deadbeat and ud have to fix everything. i dont want that for u and i knw u dont want tht future for urself

first of all that’s a tough situation i’m sorry. dogs like that can be so difficult to deal with. second of all i agree w every one else that you should break up with him. he’s not being a responsible adult, he’s not prioritizing your needs, and he isn’t giving his dog the care it deserves. i don’t think he should get rid of the dog altogether but he definitely needs to put in time effort and money into training it and it seems like he’s not willing to do that so 🚩

I mean and on top of everything the dog does, whenever i try to punish him for doing something bad, he snaps and growls and barks at me, my bf tells me to punish him, but i cant when the dog does that
