i highly recommend that anyone on the fence about having children, get a dog. even for a foster. they have the brains of toddlers. do that for a week or two, imagine it was a human, and then multiply the cost by 10 and see if ur still down.

when my mom told my dad she wanted to try for a kid, he took one look at all of the dying plants and said “maybe you should try getting a dog first”. that did not go over very well. but 20+ years and 0 dogs later, my mom is a great human mom and still a terrible plant mom. i turned out fine but she cannot keep a plant alive to save her life 💀

oof. i run a strict program w my pets lmao they know that when moms asleep they should be too or they need to find one of the million toys i have laying around. with how much i pay to keep them well, i dont play like that. cats can be trained, u just gotta be consistent w it until they get it
