it’s the same thing as the “latinos for trump” crowd. some latino people feel like they are ‘white enough’ to be exempt from political targeting and they join the side of their oppressor in a subconscious attempt to make their oppressors approve of them (and not oppress them in the ways the groups that are not ‘white enough’ are oppressed) it doesn’t work.
